How do I become an On-Site Performance Artist?

HAI schedules about 200 live performances each month by a rotating roster of professional performing groups. In an ongoing effort to present a broad array of performing events to HAI audiences, HAI holds auditions on a regular basis. HAI performing groups are primarily solos, duos and trios that are self-contained and have a cohesive one-hour performance.

If you are interested in auditioning for this program, please send your materials to HAI, c/o the On-Site Performance Program. While we understand you may have materials posted on an internet site, we would prefer receiving them through the mail. After receiving your package, you will be contacted. There are four possible outcomes:

  • Your performance does not suit HAI’s program guideline
  • We will arrange to audit one of your upcoming performance dates
  • You will be invited to an upcoming audition
  • Your will be offered a performance date based on your materials

Please send your materials to:
